VPS Malankara Higher Secondary School is managed by the Malankara Catholic Diocese of Parassala. The School was started in 1919 by the late Sri N. VikramanPilla as a Primary School. In 1945 the School became a High School and in 1998 it was raised as a Higher Secondary School. In 2019 the MSC Management of the Diocese of Parassalaassumed the ownership of the School and consequently it received a major facelift. The school, which functioned as a boys' school for many decades, was made a mixed school in 2021. Presently the school is equipped with well-furnished modern classrooms, outstanding lab and recreational facilities. The whole school ambience is conducive tothe promotion of the best educational values. The school is committed to providing quality education, assuring character formation and inculcating moral values and discipline in the students. As a policy, the school lays special importance on co-curricular activities. The school caters to the educational needs of all the sections of the society. School buses are provided to meet the transportation needs of the students. The active participation of the parents/guardians is solicited in the education of the students.
