The Malankara Catholic Mothers’ Forum (MCMF) of the Parassala Eparchy joyfully observed Mothers’ Day on Friday, 15 August 2025, at 12:30 p.m. in the serene ambience of Nazareth Home, Balaramapuram.
The celebration began with a solemn gathering presided over by the Eparchial Director, Rev. Fr. John Paul Poovanvila, who guided the proceedings with pastoral warmth. In her heartfelt words of welcome, the Eparchial President, Mrs. Praveetha Bensiker, expressed gratitude for the vibrant presence of mothers across the Eparchy.
The event was officially inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Bosco Mohan, setting the tone for a day of thanksgiving and joy. Words of encouragement and felicitations were then shared by Eparchial Animator C. Karuna D.M., Rev. Fr. Mathew Veettiyodithadathil, and Rev. Fr. Joseph Mekkumkara, highlighting the indispensable role of mothers in nurturing faith, family, and community.
Directors, Animators, and Office Bearers from every Forane of the Eparchy took part in the celebration, making it a true expression of unity, faith, and the Church’s deep appreciation of motherhood.
