The Annual Senate Meeting of the MCYM Parassala Eparchy was held on Sunday, 11th January 2026, at the Sacred Heart Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, Thiruvallam, under the gracious hosting of the Balaramapuram Forane.
The meeting commenced with the hoisting of the MCYM flag by the Balaramapuram Forane Animator, Sr. Merlin Philip DM. The session that followed was presided over by the Eparchial President, Sharath Lal, while the Eparchial Director, Rev. Fr. Jerome Kunninpurath, delivered the introductory address.
After the presentation of activity reports from the five foranes, the Eparchial Report was presented by the General Secretary, Jijo Emmanuel, and the financial statement was presented by the Eparchial Treasurer, Aparna G. Wilson.
Subsequently, the election of new office bearers for the term 2026–2027 was conducted. The Eparchial Director, Rev. Fr. Jerome Kunninpurath, served as the Chief Election Officer. The newly elected members of the Eparchial Committee were announced on the occasion.
The gathering concluded with heartfelt congratulations extended to the newly elected office bearers.
