The Eparchy of Parassala successfully organized its fraternal Koinonia – Gathering of Priests – at SPARC, Vizhinjam from 11 to 13 May 2026, fostering deeper priestly communion, spiritual renewal, and renewed pastoral missionary vision among the clergy. The event commenced with the arrival of priests, evening sports of Cricket, Football and Basketball at VPS Venganoor, followed by Evening Prayer, solemn Adoration led by Rev. Fr. Thomas Pottapurayidom, fraternal Sharing, and common meals. Subsequent days began with Morning Prayer and Holy Qurbana, enriched by insightful sessions including Pastoral and Missionary Discernments by Rev. Fr. Dr. Johnson Puthuvelil (Episcopal Vicar, Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum), in-depth Discussion on Pastoral and Missionary Challenges and Possibilities in the Eparchy of Parassala, and Theological Updates by Rev. Dr. Fr. Arun Kalamattathil (Diocese of Palakkad), along with sightseeing at Vizhinjam International Sea Port, indoor games, common prayers, meals, rest, and a cherished Time with the Bishop, concluding with Noon Prayer, Lunch and Adieu on 13 May, thereby strengthening priestly bonds and commitment to the Eparchy’s mission.
