Parasala, October 8: A special felicitation ceremony honouring priests of the Parasala Diocese and their parents was organized under the leadership of MCMF at the Charottukonam Church on October 8.
The programme was graced by His Excellency Most Rev. Thomas Mar Eusebius, bishop of the Parasala Diocese, who took an active part in the event. Priests who have rendered dedicated service to the Church were felicitated, while their parents were given special recognition and honoured for their invaluable contribution and sacrifices in nurturing and supporting their sons in their vocation to the priesthood.
In his address, the bishop appreciated the dedicated service of the priests and highlighted the significant sacrifices made by their parents. He emphasized that the vocation and ministry of a priest are deeply supported by the prayers, love, encouragement, and sacrifices of his family, especially his parents.
The ceremony was a meaningful expression of gratitude to the priests and their parents, acknowledging their dedication, commitment, and selfless service to the Church and the community.
